“Beauty is in the details”
Beauty is in the details. Even with a marvelous design, true beauty cannot be achieved if the details are neglected. Refinement comes through many layers of beautiful details. Let’s explore the essence of Grand Seiko’s beauty.

SLGH027
Mt. Iwate, as seen from the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made, features a rugged mountainscape with a lava flow at its northern base. This shape was formed through volcanic activity over hundreds of thousands of years. The dial of the SLGH027 draws inspiration from the ridgelines of Mt. Iwate as seen from above, as a bird would view it from the sky. Its dynamic radial pattern with a striking light-blue hue expresses the purity of the air and the abundant water flowing along the mountain’s ridges. The watch is equipped with Caliber 9SA5, a high-beat mechanical movement that boasts a long power reserve of 80 hours.
