Grand Seiko’s first mechanical chronograph, the Tentagraph, released in 2023, has received a new dial variation with a fresh new look. The new model features a two-layer dial imbued with the majestic presence of Mt. Iwate in winter. The upper layer of the dial has a pressed pattern inspired by the mountain’s ridgelines as seen from Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, its snow-blue color evoking the subtle tint of the freshly fallen snow. In contrast, the black sub-dials of the lower layer represent the mountain’s surface peeking through the snow.
This watch pursues lightness in weight despite its edgy design and offers excellent wearability.
